Breaking Bad Cupcakes Upset Glasgow Residents

Several locals and some politicians want Glasgow restaurant and bakery Riverhill Coffee Bar to stop offering "Breaking Bad Crystal Meth" cupcakes, they argue, because selling blue-colored candy-topped treats is tantamount to the "glamorising of drugs." The baker insists the whole thing is a lighthearted tribute to his favorite show, but others are less than amused. "Quite frankly, there's nothing funny about recreational drug use," says a local politician, who's apparently not been to Albuquerque, where "meth"-themed treats abound. Glasgow should be thankful no one's yet tried making a Breaking Bad-themed knockoff cronut. That would be really messed up. [Evening Times, Related]

I feel that people take things too far. People make cupcakes, or any type of food for that matter, themed for that show. It's no different than people making penis cakes for bachelorette parties. This seems as ridiculous to me as the issue "are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches racist".
