Default Cupcake top designs you may never have thought of

...or wanted to. Each cupcake design shown on the page opened by the link below represents some kind of game (video games and board games were represented) A lot of the game pieces, figures, and colored video game componants seem to have been made with fondant icing and strong paste of gel colors for icings, but I suspect the dice on top of the Liars' Dice cupcake may have been real miniature dice. (Be careful when eating elaborate creations such as these).:

Awesome link! Sometimes I think it is hard to theme cupcakes for boys and men and this is full of good ideas!

Default I just got an idea for reproducing some of these themed cupcakes safely

I don't know if you have sugar cubes in the UK (they are sometimes hard to come by in the USA, not being as "common" as they used to be...some of the major supermarkets have 'em, but usually the small local grocers will have only one or two varieties of granulated sugar, and the packets of artificial sweetener have really taken hold in recent years), but if you can get mass-produced equilateral sugar cubes where you are, maybe you could make fake but safely edible dice out of sugar cubes plus dots of dark-colored icing for the markings on the dice.
