Default Salted Caramel Macchiato Frosting

Salted Caramel Macchiato Frosting:

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
About a tsp of salt
a lot of powdered sugar
2 tbsp of coffee liqueur
1/2 tbsp vanilla
2 tbs heavy cream
A packet of Folgers dark roast instant coffee

Mix coffee liqueur, vanilla, heavy cream, and instant coffee. Microwave to
burn off alcohol and put in the freezer to cool. Mix butter, shortening,
salt and enough sugar until frosting reaches the consistency of cookie
dough. Add coffee mixture. Check for consistency; add more sugar or heavy
cream as needed. Pipe onto cupcakes. Drizzled ice cream topping caramel,
then sprinkle with coarse sea salt.
